Review: ICT 2013

The project manager Dr. Fiona Williams (Ericsson) and Matthias Deindl (FIR e.V.) represented FINESCE at the ICT 2013 in a successful networking session on how FINESCE and the FI-PPP support SMEs in addressing the market opportunities and how participants can benefit from the results of the FI-PPP field trials in the energy domain. The 20 to 30 attendees of the FINESCE networking session mainly had questions on the current and future Open Calls of the project.
The focus of the ICT 2013 event was on opportunities for participation in the next EU Research Programme Horizon 2020.
Almost 5000 people attended the event, which was organised by the European Commission in cooperation with the Lithuanian Presidency of the Council of the EU.
Apart from the networking session, FINESCE was present at the FI-PPP stand describing the outcome of the past 5 FINESCE Innovation Events.
