International Conference on The Role of Communication as Enabler for the Development of Smart Energy Systems

14.9. - 15.9.2015, Lecco, Italy

On the 14th and 15th of September 2015 the international conference on the role of communication for the development of Smart Energy Systems will take place in Lecco, Italy. The conference is co-organized by RSE (Ricerca Sistema Energetico) and GSGF (Global Smart Grid Federation) and builds on the immediate proximity to the 10th Executive Committee meeting of ISGAN (International Smart Grid Action Network) bringing together decision makers from 25 participating countries.
 
Experts and stakeholders from the area of smart energy systems will discuss the following topics: Rules and regulations, policies, standards and security, technical requirements and challenges for communication as enabler for smart energy systems. Further, ongoing and recently finished smart grid projects will have the opportunity to present their activities and results. As a highlight, there will be one session on the 15th of September together with the FINESCE Final Event in Berlin via remote connection including cross-messages and a joint round table discussion.
